SoCa Arts:Policies & Procedures(Please read prior to first class)
Perfect for dancers ready to "fly" into the world of ballet! Participants learn beginning ballet and gross motor skills while improving coordination, rhythm, and listening skills. Leotard, tights, and ballet shoes required. Optional recital with nominal fee. Sept–Dec enrollment required to participate; recital registration deadline Sept 30th. Please read: socaarts.com/policies-procedures Leotard, tights, and ballet shoes are required. 

SoCa Arts does not require a certain dress code for classes (unless stated at the end of a class description) however, below is the recommended class attire for classes. Street clothes such as baggy t-shirts, jeans, dresses, or open-toe shoes are not permitted. This is for the safety of your dancer.

Classical Beginning Ballet Dress Code:
Girls: Leotard (pink or black preferred), pink or skin tone tights, pink or skin tone canvas or leather ballet shoes (split sole okay for ages 7-12). Tutus are permitted up to age 6. Ages 7-12 wrap skirts only, please. Hair is to be tied back, preferably in a bun.

Boys: white or black t-shirt, black leggings/stretchy bottoms, black canvas, or leather ballet shoes (split sole okay for ages 7-12).

Note: Refunds, for a class, must be requested prior to the start of the first class.

OPTIONAL RECITAL with SoCa Arts. 
Spring Recital: Must be enrolled in January-April sessions to participate in recital. The recital is not hosted by the City of Pico Rivera, for questions about the recital -please ask the SoCa Arts instructor prior to or after class sessions.

Summer Recital: Must be enrolled in June-August sessions to participate in recital. The recital is not hosted by the City of Pico Rivera, for questions about the recital -please ask the SoCa Arts instructor prior to or after class sessions.

Fall Recital: Must be enrolled in September-November sessions to participate in recital. The recital is not hosted by the City of Pico Rivera, for questions about the recital -please ask the SoCa Arts instructor prior to or after class sessions.
